This project was a renovation that was aimed at transforming an existing 340 square foot condo unit along the New Hampshire seacoast into a one-of-a-kind retreat residence with outstanding ocean views. The goal was to utilize interior and exterior spaces as efficiently as possible to create an extremely flexible, functional and fully-integrated living environment. Each design element was carefully planned to achieve the desired outcome. A 12-foot LaCantina door system transforms the interior space and enhances the indoor-outdoor living capacity, as a large portion of exterior deck space doubles the usable floor area. Modern appliances and unique products were selected to maximize the versatility and functionality of the interiors. The end result is a simple yet intricate residence with a spacious feel and inviting atmosphere that can be a model for future living.
