TMS is currently seeking a full-time Interior Design Coordinator to join their Interior Design Studio team. This person will work directly with the company’s Lead Interior Designer, assisting them with their daily duties. They will coordinate with furniture and fabric companies to set up new accounts, order samples, place and track orders. The applicant should have a working knowledge of drafting construction documents, selecting and specifying materials, and have 1-5 years of experience in architecture or interior design.

Essential Duties:

  • Product research
  • Furniture, fixture, and material selection
  • Furniture, fixture, and material specification
  • Phone and Email correspondence with product representatives
  • Packaging samples and presentations for shipping
  • Produce Construction Documents as related to interiors
  • Create 2D and 3D presentation renderings and layouts
  • Provide CAD support on interiors and architectural projects
  • Assisting with project installations and photo shoots
  • Assist with the pickup and delivery of samples
  • Maintain materials sample library

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in the field of Design
  • Interior or Architecture degree or currently completing
  • Ability to lift and carry items up to 40 pounds
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation required
