An Arts & Crafts Great Room Transformation

From grand custom houses to luxurious interiors, our team can do it all. Take a look inside a recent interior design project, in which we redecorated our client’s lake house great room to match the arts and crafts style of the home.

 

In the summer of 2017, the TMS Interiors team met with a client who wanted to freshen up their lake house great room with new furniture that fit into the arts and crafts style of their home. Our goal was to create two intimate seating areas that could flow into each other, adding soft textures in cooler tones to the space to offset all the natural stone and wood.

 

The process included meeting with the client to present visual concepts and samples to give them a sense of what the final picture would look like. From there we were able to work closely with trade exclusive manufacturers to bring to life the clients design dreams.

 

Finally, install day arrives! We partner with Turcotte Moving and Storage who tirelessly work to make sure the day goes smoothly.

 

This custom sectional in a cream chenille provided a place for the client to kick back and relax. The leather cocktail trunk brought in a masculine, old world touch while providing a place to store extra blankets and board games.

The seating group by the fireplace was designed to easily accommodate many friends for entertaining. The new lounge chairs provide a pop of design with their panelized striped upholstery.
